Cut the pieces you need. I made this truck rack for myself because im building my deck and i had to transport 16 lumber and the hardware store was charging 60 per delivery so as a diyer i decided that for four 2x4s and couples screws i could build myself a rack. Use 3 inch wood screws to attach this support to the posts. Install the rack in the bed of your truck using metal anchor bolts.

This board adds strength and support. Made with four 2x4s this rack is quick to build and. Then cut another 2 by 4 board to the width of the truck bed and lay it between the vertical rack posts. The one thing you will need is exposed framing on the inside of the wall like in the pictures.
