Review your owner s manual to learn how to do this. Remove any debris and objects that are trapped in the filter. Drainage hose kit part number 663105 extends the dishwasher supply and drain hose to a maximum length of 6 ft. Start by removing the air gap positioned inside the sink cabinet.

To do this you will need to hold the air gap device while unscrewing the bolts. Remove any hose clamps and the drain hose and extract them from the garbage disposal and dishwasher. Clean it with soap and a soft brush under running water. Lift the square stainless steel cover from the floor of the bosch dishwasher to reveal the large white sump that is held in place by two side retaining clips.

With the cover removed you now have access to dishwasher drain pump. Use the drain hose extension kit accessory to extend the drain hose to a maximum length of 6 ft. This is a good way to remove black gunk in a dishwasher drain hose as well. Check for blockages by running a dishwasher clean cycle and holding the hose over a bucket or sink.

Remove the lower kick plate located under the door. Once you ve shifted the water it s time to remove the drain pump cover which on most bosch dishwashers will be secured with a single screw. Remove that using a screwdriver and then take off the cover by gripping the tab on the left and lifting it up and towards you. Ideal for dishwashers that are placed away from the water source.

If you find one remove the pipe at both ends and attempt to push the clog out with a straightened wire coat hanger or a blast of water from an outdoor hose. Open the dishwasher door and unscrew the two screws securing the dishwasher to the countertop. Dishwasher drain pipes are often clear so you can simply look for a clog instead. You can flush out the dishwasher drain hose using the kitchen sprayer and then set aside to drain.

Before reinstalling the filter remove the pump cover by following the instructions in your owner s manual. If the hose doesn t drain then a clog is causing a blockage.
